The financial guideline in our office is that we ask all patients to pay us in full the day that service is provided (or started in the case of a multiple-visit procedure), unless prior arrangements have been made with the Office Manager. For certain lengthy appointments, we may ask for a deposit in advance to reserve the Dr. Maniscalco's time.
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, cashier checks, VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER.
For those interested in extended payment plans, we use WellsFargo/Norwest that offers 12 months interest free same as cash as well as extended financing available.
Please visit the finance companies websites for more specific information, or call our office.
Our office strives to provide the best quality in service and staff to our patients. We feel that one of the key factors in achieving this goal is to remain free of "dental insurance involvement."
What does this mean exactly? Dr. Maniscalco is not a "Preferred Provider" of any dental benefit carrier, plan or company. When looking at possible dental benefits available to you, please keep in mind that our office will always come under the category of "outside the network" or "non-participating providers."
The choice to remain unaffiliated with any dental benefit company is based on this fact: Dr. Maniscalco feels the decision for you to receive the highest quality of treatment, care and materials should not in any way be determined or influenced by an outside body, such as a dental benefit provider. We remain therefore, a private practice. You will never enter our reception area and feel or be treated as though you have entered a "dental factory" or that you are being rushed in and out.
If you have the type of benefit that does allow you to pick your own provider (to go "outside the network"), our administrative staff will gladly process your dental claim, and you will be reimbursed for any monies contractually due to you. Of course, we will need accurate, complete information regarding your benefit in order for us to submit any claim on you behalf; we cannot be responsible for incomplete or outdated benefit information.
It is our hope that all new patients, and those that we already know, will appreciate this decision. We realize that in these challenging times, it is difficult to make a decision for quality above less "out-of-pocket" choices – but we are confidant that our office will make a positive difference in your oral healthcare and even possibly your overall healthier lifestyle.
It is one of our tenets to apprise you of the fee(s) for your treatment in advance. However, due to the very nature of any individual dental situation, your necessary treatment may differ from the original plan. We will keep you informed if any change in your treatment is recommended. You will be advised of any difference in fee(s) accordingly.
